The International Office of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts coordinates the institution’s international activities, providing methodological support in the field of external cooperation and serving as the institutional coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme and bilateral agreements. The office promotes partnerships with foreign art academies, universities, and cultural institutions.

Given Transcarpathia’s advantageous border location and its rich cultural diversity, the International Office actively develops cooperation with institutions in Central and Eastern Europe, particularly Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Romania.

Key responsibilities of the office include:
– preparing and administering international cooperation agreements;
– organizing the selection process for TAA students to participate in international internships, exchange programmes, residencies, and study abroad opportunities;
– coordinating visits of international students, lecturers, artists, and researchers to the academy;
– providing methodological and practical support for the mobility of TAA faculty and staff.

The International Office pays special attention to promoting the unique artistic traditions of Transcarpathia, presenting the academy as an active participant in the European cultural and educational landscape.
