The International Office of the Transcarpathian Academy of Arts coordinates the institution’s international activities, providing methodological support in the field of external cooperation and serving as the institutional coordinator of the Erasmus+ Programme and bilateral agreements. The office promotes partnerships with foreign art academies, universities, and cultural institutions.

Given Transcarpathia’s advantageous border location and its rich cultural diversity, the International Office actively develops cooperation with institutions in Central and Eastern Europe, particularly Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Romania.

Key responsibilities of the office include:
– preparing and administering international cooperation agreements;
– organizing the selection process for TAA students to participate in international internships, exchange programmes, residencies, and study abroad opportunities;
– coordinating visits of international students, lecturers, artists, and researchers to the academy;
– providing methodological and practical support for the mobility of TAA faculty and staff.

The International Office pays special attention to promoting the unique artistic traditions of Transcarpathia, presenting the academy as an active participant in the European cultural and educational landscape.

Міжнародний відділ Закарпатської академії мистецтв координує міжнародну діяльність закладу, забезпечуючи методичну підтримку у сфері зовнішньої співпраці, а також інституційну координацію Програми Erasmus+ і двосторонніх угод. Відділ сприяє розвитку партнерських зв’язків із закордонними мистецькими академіями, університетами та культурними інституціями.

З огляду на вигідне прикордонне розташування Закарпаття та його культурну багатоманітність, Міжнародний відділ активно розвиває співпрацю з країнами Центральної та Східної Європи, зокрема Угорщиною, Словаччиною, Польщею, Чехією та Румунією.

До основних функцій відділу належать:
– підготовка та адміністрування міжнародних угод;
– організація конкурсного відбору студентів ЗАМ для участі у міжнародних стажуваннях, програмах обміну, резиденціях та навчанні за кордоном;
– координація візитів іноземних студентів, викладачів, митців і науковців до академії;
– методична та практична підтримка мобільностей викладачів і співробітників ЗАМ.

Особливу увагу Міжнародний відділ приділяє популяризації унікальних художніх традицій Закарпаття, представляючи академію як активного учасника європейського культурно-освітнього простору.
